the enemy face to face
about the men returning
to hold the line for independence
about the teachers who continue to teach
and those who picked up weapons
about the doctors and nurses who continue to heal
about the soldiers saving the dog and calling him Rambo
about the kids who picked up flowers
to make the shelter beautiful

ideology will crack under this weight
the shield must break!
