we are better

at painting landscapes

writing poetry, putting

together instruments and

making them sound in unison

we are better

at creating systems of beauty

— where all belong, than those

of utility in which even if we attempt

equality, someone suffers, the earth does,

for sure. It laughs through tears. It must

be quite a spectacle — a species making up

unfitting answers to the question:

What are we here for?
