Kiss life

That spring when the snow

Fell and stayed for longer than

Expected, we worried

For the crops and buds

I kissed only a few days ago

On my walk when the

Joy of reawakening dismissed all

Convenances and I stood there

Laying softest lip graces

On the slowly showing signs

Of cyclical harmony

Now, if I could gather those witnesses

the passerbyers with their irreverent

looks, I’m convinced they would

exclaim with me

with humility:

Kiss life when it’s here!
