You don’t make sense, I think

as the ninth month

with your misleading name

I can’t catch my rhythm

and I blame it on this

etymological dilemma

but then you look at me

with your harvests, pigment

games, shifting light, and

temperature perfect for

beholding pleasure of contrast

I have to give it to you -

if only I lived up

to my name half as well!
